Chicken in a creamy thyme and mushroom sauce

Succulent and tender chicken cooked to perfection,infused with thyme and smoothered in the most creamy mushroom sauce easily made from scratch... YUMMMM....

Some of the ingredients used in this recipe are
Ingredients for the marinade
Chicken breast boneless- 2 medium size
Olive oil-1 tbsp
Onions-finely chopped-2 tbsp
Garlic-1.5 tbsp
Fresh thyme- a few sprigs
Salt & black pepper to taste
Ingredients for the sauce
Olive oil-1 tbsp
Butter-1 tbsp
Mushrooms sliced-1/2 cup
Salt & pepper to taste
Garlic-1 tbsp
Parsley-1 tbsp
Thyme- a few sprigs
Fresh cream-1.5 tbsp
Chicken stock/water-2 tbsp
Fresh parmesan cheese- as per taste
Method
1.Marinade the chicken with the above mentioned ingredients and keep it aside.
2.In a saucepan,add olive oil, butter,and fry the marinated chicken on both sides until done.
3.In another pan,add olive oil, butter,mushrooms,salt,pepper,garlic,parsley,cream,stock and parmesan cheese and let it simmer for a few minutes until the sauce gets a bit thick.
4. Once done,pour this sauce over the fried chicken and garnish with parsley.Serve hot.
